Build Your Own Crane

We are asking theme camps, regional groups, as well as individuals to create their own wooden scaled-down version of an origami crane. These smaller cranes will be gathered around the base of the main structure to show that while we are all different, together we are a community! We’ve even made a handy guide you can download to make the building easy. We hope it inspires you to be part of this project!

Become a Temple of Community Sohei

The “Sohei” were the warrior monks that maintained and protected the many temples of the Kyoto area during the Japanese feudal era. The Temple of Community is looking for generous volunteers to play the role of Sohei out on the playa.
